So theirs this Wolverine movie coming out this summer and regardless of whether the trailer inspires screams of exitment or big sign endused eye-rolls the Logan hype is at it’s max. To help those looking for a place to get started and excite even more the loyal fans IGN.com has put together their top 10 Wolverine Books.
As I a big Batman fan I can appreciate the love for Wolverine. He’s dark, harsh, mysterious, and your always hesitating for that moment when he’s going to snap; however, this movie isn’t really “doing it” for me right now and rather than complain about something I havnt seen yet I’m going to hit up my local shop and take a look at some of these books.
It’s true, Kate Spencer (a.k.a. DC’s current Manhunter) is back and soon going to be seen in action! I got this article from Newsarama; she’s apparently moving to Gotham and will be appearing in the upcoming Batman: Streets of Gotham series coming in July written by Paul Dini.
This really excites me. Manhunter had a surprisingly long run with her own monthly title and has deserved to not be just brushed under the rug. If you didn’t read any of her stuff I would highly recommend it. Gotham City fits her perfectly too and any hint of her playing with the Batman family gives me goosebumps.
And with Georges Jeanty drawing her you can’t go wrong. Orginally I hadn’t planned on picking up this title, now I might have to fork over the dough. Dear DC, please give her a fight scene with another girl in Gotham. I would love to see her vs. Catwomen, Harley, or someone like that.
