Batman and Robin: #3 Cover and Interior Art
Released today from both the source and IGN.com was some interior art from Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely’s Batman and Robin #1 along with the cover to Batman and Robin #3.
Granted none of us have read this yet but from the interviews and images it seems like these will be sci-fi heavy stories (a.k.a the flying batmobile, swamp-thing monster coming out of the water, etc.) but I gotta admit, that’s a little bit of a relief for me. We know it’s not Bruce under the cowl (Dick Grayson is the obvious choice) so it doenst have to be a traditional crime and noir Batman story and if there’s one thing we know Grant can do it’s sci-fi, especially when he’s teaming up with Quitely. I still don’t know if I’ll be picking this up or not but it’s nice to know Grant seems to be building something he’s comfortable with.
