Mark Hamill’s Joker “Why So Serious”

At the 2011 New York Comic Con Mark Hamill, a.k.a Luke Skywalker and the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series gave fans a “Why So Serious” in the classic Mark Hamill Joker voice.

Good Lord.

Don’t get me wrong Heath Ledger did an amazing job in The Dark Knight and gave a performance for the ages but growing up on Batman: The Animated Series has permanently stuck Mark Hamill’s Joker voice in my head every time I think of the character.

That line, with Hamill’s voice, is pretty darn awesome.

And for more, a dramatic reading from The Killing Joke by Mark Hamill as Joker (make sure to turn off the lights):

Wow. Listening to Hamill read the Killing Joke just blew my mind. After listening to it, I went and got my copy of the Killing Joke and replayed it as I read the comic.

That Killing Joke bit isn’t Mark Hamill.
