Courtesy of DC’s blog The Source we’ve gotten our first, albeit brief, glance at one of DC’s “Second Wave” titles, Batman Incorporated, which will start it’s second volume this May. And to no surprise at this point artist Chris Burnham is bringing with him the good stuff.
Despite Batman Incorporated being mentioned in other titles and Batwing being an extension of Batman Incorporated this will be the first time Grant Morrison will be writing the title in the New 52.
Editor Mike Marts had this to say:
Grant Morrison’s new BATMAN, INCORPORATED series is the final, unbelievable act of a saga six years in the making,
Things pick up directly after the shocking cliffhanger of last year’s LEVIATHAN STRIKES one-shot—and only get crazier from there!
Business as usual for this title, and by that I mean that as with volume one Grant Morrison isn’t holding back any and Chris Burnham is more than capable of hanging with.
Although Batman Incorporated has had it’s rotation of artists in the past I hope that Chris Burnham sticks around as he’s turning into a personal favorite of my own.
