YouTuber DCookStaVideo “mixed, rearranged and ‘Slowed’ down at 600%” Danny Elfman’s theme song from Batman: The Animated Series and the result is 4 minutes of eerie-yet-soothing ambient Batman music.

Just by slowing it down the original song is transformed into something entirely different, yet…familiar. You can download the file HERE. My recommendation; put this sucker on loop, dim your lights a bit, and pick one of the following off your shelf to read for a bit:

Batman: The Long Halloween

Batman: The Black Glove

Final Crisis (Yes…Final Crisis)

Batman: The Black Mirror

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns

Batman: Gothic

It even sounds like something that could fit into Hans Zimmer’s work for Chris Nolan’s trilogy. The first song I thought of was “A Little Push” but either way, very cool.

Thanks for the great review. I appreciate you taking the time to write a bit about the song. I also have a Justice League video and some others that you might be interested in. -DCV
