Batgirl #1 Preview

A big thanks to DC’s The Source for giving us some previews of Batgirl #1. The art looks great and the previews don’t give us much hint’s to the big WHO question but I gotta say, that looks like Cassandra Cain to me.

Wouldn’t that be very 2009 DC-like if all this hype and it ended up being Cassandra Cain? Doesnt look like her in all the covers but need I remind you of how Bruce-Wayne-ish Tim Drake looked in the Red Robin previews?  I don’t think it will be, I think it’s most likely Cassandra Cain is in this series and she deals with a new person (or old) trying to take over the role or something like that but, but for as much good as DC’s been doing this summer, the element of suprise is not one.

    Nice find. The costume looks like Cass’, but this one has a sense of humor and seems to be a bit more of a rookie at this. The guesses for Stephanie Brown or Misfit taking up the cowl seem to be a bit closer to mark based on this preview.
