Minor Spoilers….

Good news- Philip Tan last issue in Batman and Robin

Bad News- I have to wait until January 27th 2010 to pick up Batman and Robin #7

Grant Morrison continues to tell a very good Batman story, an issue 6 is no different. The story continues right where issue 5 left off, the Flamingo character in my opinion is pointless an dumb even though he does beat Jason Todd all over the place. He says nothing but “heh”, and even Damien was expecting better from this guy.” I was expecting scary not gay.” Theirs a lot of Damien humor in the issue which makes the issue fun. The issue shows how much Damien is one tough S.O.B and what he goes through also show’s what kind of character he really is. Grant Morrison wrote Jason Todd pretty well in the issue and the story overall.  After the conclusion of the RedaHood and Scarlet the issue starts building up for the Blackest Knight storyline.  The issue leaves two cliff hangers that will lead into Grant Morrison’s 3rd storyline called Blackest Knight. One is the look of the new character El Penitente who might be recognizable character in my opinion because of the scared “W” on is back and a mask DR Hurt weared in Batman RIP, and the 2nd cliff hanger is a depress Dick Grayson opening up a secret door using a password ZUR EN ARRH beneath Wayne Towers.  The art is still bad, I don’t know how Philip Tan can draw very good comic book covers, and draw bad art of panels. Some of the panels in Batman and Robin # 6 looks like its been done by another artist.  The issue is still good despite the art and alot of cliff hangers that will get readers to look forward for issue 7.
