Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo Now Available
Well folks, let me tell you something. Buy this video game. If you own a newer PC, a 360, or a PS3, PICK IT UP. Trust me. But, the only thing is that it’s not available yet, so you’ll have to settle for a demo for now. I went to my local Gamestop a while ago, and just happened to check out what was on the playable 360. I had heard about this game, but didn’t know there were demos at stores yet, so of course, I played it.
The demo at the store is essentially a challenge. It’s pretty much just fighting 4 different groups of thugs, and it gets harder each round. Oh, and by the way, i got a PERFECT score first time I played it. I need to mention the free-flow combat system. It’s a new thing, and it makes combat AMAZING. Ya know how on most video games if your surrounded, it’s kind of difficult to go from hitting one thug to another? Not so on Batman: Arkham Asylum, because what free-flow does is incorporate a lot of attacks that help take down multiple enemies quickly. Now, that, using Batman’s moves is an incredible combo. Definitely worth a trip to the local game store to play for about an hour cause it’s so good.
Also, on August 7th, the Batman: Arkham Asylum Official Website along with Microsoft and Sony’s respective downloadable content venues for their systems made available a demo. This demo, very different from the in-store one, is amazing. It is a mix of using combat and the new detective mode to stalk enemies, make a good plan to disable them, and executing that plan. It’s definitely strategic, and simple mistakes can mess up your progress. The game showcases most of the games features, except they only use a couple gadgets. Overall, this was definitely a good taste of what’s to come in the full version.
Well, I have a feeling this will be the best Batman game ever. For now, but hey, what do you think?
