Blue Lantern Corps: Corps Profile

After the Sinestro Corps War, two Guardians named Ganthet and Sayd were expelled for being too emotional. They would go on to the planet of Odym, where they would begin their own corps: the Blue Lantern Corps, and begin a new life as the Guardians Of Hope.

They would begin by choosing their first Lantern, “Saint”  Bro’ Dee Walker and assigning him to Sector 0001. Walker’s first action would be to recruit the next member of the Corps, Warth from Sector 0002. Each new recruit spends three days with Ganthet and Sayd, to decide if their worthy of being Blue Lanterns.

The Blue Lantern’s are unique in many ways. Their rings, instead of charging from a power battery, are charged by the targets hope. They can instill hope in others. They can draw out fear and rage, and grant immunity to the orange light of avarice. I believe the Blue Lanterns will one day surpass the Green Lantern’s in power and numbers.
