Star Sapphire Corps: Corps Profile

It all started when a group of female oans decided not to get caught up in the Guardians universal affairs. The group relocated to Zamaron, and began a new way of life. In time, they turned a parasitic crystal they had found into Star Sapphires. They used these crystals to turn woman who had loved and lost into powerful people, focused on spreading the power of love to all 3600 sectors of the universe.

They would soon realize the Star Sapphire’s power is too great for them to control. This would lead to them making a Central Power Battery and Power Ring, fueled by the emotion of love, which is as influential over its user as rage is to the Red Lanterns. New recruits of the Star Sapphires are instructed to follow their heart. The Sapphires have recruited many, and have even abducted Sinestro Corps members, in an attempt to convert them to the light of love. Thus far, the only successful conversion has been Fatality of sector 1313. Among the Star Sapphires recruits is Carol Ferris, although it hasn’t been revealed if her participation was consentual.
