Punisher Max #9 Review
Punisher Max #9
I love this series. This is the true Punisher down to his core. Not that Franken-Castle crap that been stinking up the stands. If you love the Punisher or just a great action/violent comic, read this series. You will not be disappointed. Today I will be reviewing Punisher Max #9. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
So let’s talk about the book. Bullseye is hired by the Kingpin to kill the Punisher. But Bullseye is insane and the Kingpin cannot have a madman running around killing people in his city. The Punisher want the Kingpin dead. So does the Kingpin’s wife. The cops want the Punisher in jail. Everyone is chasing everyone with no one getting what they want…. yet. In order to kill the Punisher, Bullseye is trying to get into his head and learn how he thinks. He has finally succeeded in that mission and is now ready to go one-on-one with the Punisher. And that’s the book.
So let’s talk opinions. I love this title. It reminds me of the Garth Ennis written Punisher books of yesteryear. The stories themselves focus on the characters more than actual criminals or villains. It humanizes them more than ever before. You really get an inside look into the minds of the Kingpin, Bullseye, and the Punisher. You get to see how they think. This is anew approach to these characters that I don’t remember being done before. The art is tremendous. Nothing is fuzzy or unclear. You see the bullets fly. Also, you see Bullseye in an entire new light. He was always a killer but now you see just how much of a heartless monster he really is. He has no fear of anyone or anything, but that doesn’t mean he is incompetent. The man is a killer, pure and simple. That’s my opinion folks. Take it or leave it.
