Final New 52 Comic-Con Panel Drops Some Knowledge

Some announcements made at what was probably the final New 52 comic-con panel before DC officially relaunches on August 31st will make the “relaunch week” even more interesting.

Where To Start Reading: The DC Comics Relaunch

On August 31st DC Comics will relaunch their entire fictional universe (the “DC Universe”) with 52 new #1 comic issues, all of which will be ongoing books that are released once a month. No matter if your a die-hard fan or new to comics 52 new books of an entirely relaunched universe can be a lot to process.

Batgirl #20 Review

Part two of two of the “Tunnel Vision” storyline uncovers a lot of plot points, propelling us forward in Steph’s crazy world of Batgirl. For starters, we now know who exactly our speedster is, though it – in the larger scheme of things – is not exactly important. Just a slacker college kid lacking identity, Xane accepted an “offer he couldn’t refuse” and helped the Reapers in their larger plan, headed up by an, as of now, unknown puppetmaster.

After a two issue sidestep, we’re back on track with the regularly scheduled plot-line that has Stephanie semi-teaming up with Detective Gage to find the mysterious speedster who’s been attacking bank vaults. (Though not stealing much.)
