Once upon a time, all the Manhunters in Sector 666 malfunctioned. There were only five survivors, who became terrorists targeting the Guardians, known as The Five Inversions. The inversion named Atrocitus would end up murdering the other Inversions, using their blood to harness the red rage present nearly everywhere. And so, The Red Lantern Corps was born.
